Mossy Oak Handle - LT Hammer Head Mod

139 Views 3 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  LazyEyedSquinter
Had a Mossy Oak Pocketshot Hammer, and an Aliexpress LT Hammer Slingshot Head Copy in hibernation for a couple of years.

LT Hammer Slingshot Head Copy modified from Ocularis Holes to shallow OTT forks - Gorilla Epoxy, filing and sanding. Added band-tie groves and drilled holes for tabs. 100mm outside forks and 30mm tips approx. Didn't do any mod to the handle other than some stick on foam for comfort.
Natural material Metal Fashion accessory Composite material Circle

Painted both handle and head Green and coated with CA glue.

Shooting at spinners with 8mm steel and 1632 looped tubes [155mm] at 10m. Slightly difficult to control but improvements with each 50 shots.

Nice to get a few items out of hibernation, create something usable and back in rotation.

Thanks. I found hammer grip a pretty hard-to-control-the-shot grip to start with but finally got some consistency with a couple of different setups: 1632 looped with 8mm, 0.65 with 3/8", 0.8 with 7/16".

Decided to turn the bolts [see pic] to the shooter side and the flatter screw heads to the target side to minimize any cuts to latex/bands on their retraction back after the shot.
