I have made and bought quite a few sheath knives over the last 70 years and I have come to the conclusion that the most useful, in most situations, is one with a short blade and long handle. This is one that I just finished, looking forward to a summer of fishing and camping.

Looks Good! My EDC has a 2 inch blade and a 4 inch handle.

i too like the shorter [2 1/4 -2 1/2 in] blades with a 3 1/2-4 in handle,although i have a couple with smaller handles that are just handy,but not neccesarily *outdoors blades*. That one looks Sweet with the antler handle,what is the butt cap made from?

I really like that one GG you got some skills there. Also the sheath I is fantastic. I just bought a little sheath for my folder but it’s nothing compared to that one. Awesome work my friend.
