I loaded this smooth bore with 80 grains of triple 7 and 1 oz. of #5 shot.
She kicked like a mule. At 26 yards , it put 3 BB`s in the brain on a turkey target.

I'd say 3 BB`s in the brain on a turkey target at 26 yards is some nice shooing for that weapon.

If I'm correct, 28 gauge equates to .55 caliber. Bet she does kick a bit.

I want to see both: smoke show and the results.

This is what four 3/8 lead balls and some added .177 pellets do to a filled water jug @20 yds.

Ha ha....yes both my shoulders are messed up now. And yes she kicks like a mule with a heavy load.
But , I don't care because she is much fun to shoot. Only 2 shots through it so far.
As far as the shillelagh....I don`t remember that????
I plan on making a few forks this summer.
