Ive been trying the new slingshot what i got off Martin, what a bit of work it is, the finish on it is brill, you think it was made for my hand, i took it out the fist day and got a couple of squirrels what i stir fried, and was back out today with it, and got a rabbit out of my car window, that will be a pie tomorrow ha ha, if you ever get a chance to buy one off him i,d snatch his hand off, i love it, cant wait till monday when im out hunting again, thankyou Martin, jeff

Good shooting Jeff you have a lot of vermin there,where do you live it must be near to the coast as you left a comment about walking the dogs on the beach.

I live in Hartlepool on the northeast coast, less than 1/2 mile from the beach, and im lucky i have 2 local farms what i do a bit of pest control, jeff

From reading your posts you are a good shot! I would love to see everyone on the forum at a tournament together. It seems like it would be a great time as well as seeing what a more expansive representation of quality shooters brings to a tournament.

I wouldnt say i was a great shot ha ha, that rabbit was only 10yard away, dont think it expected someone wacking it from out of a car window ha ha, but them squirrels are not that easy,
i can shred a tin can from 15 yards, but a comp im not that good, ha ha, jeff

Wow that is a really good lookin slingshot you have there. And boy do i love to see hunting pics. Where did you hit the rabbit head/ body. I have not made myself a slingshot yet, too busy. But i do hope to get some squirrels one day with a homemade slingshot like you jeff. Great hunting

Did you use this very band to make the shots?As I see its single layer , But how wide is it ? What size of ball did u use?Cheers

I got the squirrels with that band and a 8mm steel ball, but i used a band Martin sent me a while back it 3 layers of pink latex bands, dont know the thickness, and a 1/2 lead ball for the rabbits, and yes its a cracking slingshot, i love it, jeff

I made the palm swell separately, when I was happy with the fit I epoxied it in place and carefully cleaned and polished it.
