Hello slingshot friends! For Christmas this year my brother Treeman sent me a beautiful dogwood Champ plus he sent two nice yew forks. I never build one to keep but I set out to build one for myself. I absolutely threw the kitchen sink at it. I cut those babies up and started my favorite of everything. This is curvey, aluminum cored, half Little Plinker, half Pocket Parasite with a thumb pad on the back section off of the Game Keeper Pigeon popper. All my favorites materials, Yew, Olive, and abalone, just for some bling.

Wow! That's incredible, I love the abalone scales too, very nice touch. The thumb support is a great addition to any slingshot, after using my Pocket Predator HuntMaster, I'm sold on them for life :headbang:

I can't put enough WOW's in the note. I can just see that there is no ceiling when it comes to creating the lowly slingshot!

Me too. I’ve been experimenting with the thumb pad since arthritis crippled my hands. Game Keeper John came out with it quite a few years ago. I’m liking it a lot and would recommend it to anyone who has thumb problems

It's not really ready for the mantle. Now the one from last month with the curved core that lost ?? That one did belong on the mantle. So I gave it to one of my best buddies.
