My Christmas keeper

Hello slingshot friends! For Christmas this year my brother Treeman sent me a beautiful dogwood Champ plus he sent two nice yew forks. I never build one to keep but I set out to build one for myself. I absolutely threw the kitchen sink at it. I cut those babies up and started my favorite of everything. This is curvey, aluminum cored, half Little Plinker, half Pocket Parasite with a thumb pad on the back section off of the Game Keeper Pigeon popper. All my favorites materials, Yew, Olive, and abalone, just for some bling.
I never post any of my own builds hardly but had to make this exception. Hope y'all like it! Have a blessed day! Thanks Chris!!!

Very beautiful! A masterpiece level frame for sure! The word "awesome" just doesn't do it justice.

That's a stunner Joe, beautiful and Abalone makes anything more purty, lol.

I once made a dragonfly themed flute, that the wings were wrapped around the barrel in Abalone.....now THAT was a challenge and lesson in humility all in one.

Great looking frame Joe.

Dang!! That one deserves a place of honor on the mantle

It's not really ready for the mantle. Now the one from last month with the curved core that lost ?? That one did belong on the mantle. So I gave it to one of my best buddies.
...except it shoots so good, I can't put it down. That was my end of the Christmas swap. I have it rigged with the simple shot .5 blacks that I got from Shane.
Have I mentioned how awesome this forum is?

Thanks my friend. Easy to do when I get to rambling. We're there any early models with the thumb pad?

Joe, for a gimpy handed old duffer, you sure can put out a nice slingshot. I also liked last months loser, but you gotta admit this one is taking his horn to the party!

Looks like it was a busy type of frame to build. Turned out well worth the effort either way
