I see that there many natural-forks fans....so, here is one of mine

Actually, I made this one for a friend...no planing, it just came out like that....

it has holes for tubing (he prefers the tube)

I also have one question for u guys:

Which do you think i should be more expensive? the natural (because is unique and it`s hard to find it) or the one you make (because you design it and make it from almost 0)?

Nice job, love the stain,artwork, and finish. Very unique. I would put more value on this fork since it looks more finely finished.

Personally I value a slingshot based on its beauty and utility, but also on how easily I could obtain one from another source or make one myself.

On all these counts, natural forks have a headstart. Nature makes a beautiful fork, resplendent in natural grain and form. At the same time, nature is a great engineer and designs its forks to resist precisely the same static and dynamic forces that we apply with slingshot bands. Nature provides such variety that we can find one of the size, palmswell, angle and cant that we need. Finally, I have almost no way to get a decent seasoned fork here. I have precisely one raw fork waiting to be carved. It was obtained in trade for one of my slingshots and so the finished product has to be worth more than the value of my original slingshot plus postage and labour, consumables, and a premium added for the risk of my getting it wrong.

Therefore, the raw fork just sits there on my stock shelf gathering dust while I muster my wits, courage and inspiration.
