Hey there,
just finished building my first slingshot,
its actually a great slingshot... under the tape there are office rubber bands (the only material i have had)
and the bands are trumark tube bands, very heavy pull...

well... i love it

That fork has a lot of character. Looks like a really tough and rugged wood. Why'd you cover so much of it up with duct tape? If you think you like it now with those tubes on it, wait'll you get yourself some of A+ Slingshots' TheraBand Gold Doubles. No comparison.
That is a nice catty, though.

i used very weak office rubber bands as the tying material so i was afraid that in case that i will hit the fork it will tear off...

and... this fork is a piece of history
,
the uncle of a friend of mine bought it 25 years ago during operation at Ethiopia called "Operation Solomon".
