That's really nice. I've been toying with the idea to have a matching catty and knife set. Need more practice in the workshop first though

Thank you! It still needs some work but it will do the job for now. So when I had the blank made the guy did the worst job you could possibly do on the serrations. I was unhappy with it and there was no fixing it so I erased it all together and now it has that finger dip lol. Oddly enough it's really nice and helps with a more secure grip if I needed to really cut something

That came out nice! I like stumpy lookin' knives myself, about half that size would be in my favorite range I think the notch would be a good place for your driving finger or ring when holding the blade for tight cuts that need good control.

I appreciate it! I would have liked it to have been a bit smaller as well but I made do with what I had. And the notch definitely helps like you mentioned both ways and will be more beneficial than the ugly serrations that were there before lol
