I don't care for commercial wrist braced slingshots, mainly because I have never found one that shoots as good as a couple that I have made. The Saunders line is in my opinion the best of the large manufactured slingshots. The hawk is a good shooting flip. The thing that sets the Saunders line apart is fail safe tips. If used properly, if a tip gives way the parts don't fly back at you, of course you might get a band slap. The cam action of there tips makes for fast band change and adjustment. I seldom shoot anyone's flips except my own design and then I only shoot one 90 % of the time. It has been my go to flip since 2005.
