Someone on here showed a slingshot he had that was made by a fellow from England named smallholder. Well I just got this in the mail that he made for me. Bushcraft friction folder, 3-inch blade, 01 tool steel, tufnol scales. I love it! Hair-popping sharp too.

I have eyed that style of knife for a while. I would love to have one in hand to get the feel of one. I feel confident I would like it.

You have a nice addition to your collection, whether big or small.

Great looking blade DH, Terry makes some fabulous knives and slingshots.

Nice knife. Can anyone recommend a decent affordable knife for me?
Hey Ray, I'm no authority on knives but I recently discovered these knives on Amazon....
They look absolutely beautiful to me, almost like they are straight from a custom makers home workshop....The blade is 440c steel which is very serviceable and good for the price, yet they do not specify whether it is full tang or not which isn't the greatest sign. Again, I can't say I know a great knife when I see them, but this line of styles all look top notch, and they are very affordable.

Look towards the bottom and you can find more (if you know a little bit about Amazon then you'll know what to do)

They also come with a pretty good looking leather sheath which is a great feature.

Maybe someone with experience or further knowledge could tell us a little more about these knives, because I haven't got a clue about them other then what I see and hear.

Cheers - John

Thanks guys for all the compliments. I have a svord knife and it is was my favorite for bushcraft outdoors use. But this one is hand made and a much better knife. Svord knives are inexpensive and I would recommend them to everybody. (Not that this knife was terribly expensive, mind you. I just don't want to publish what smallholder charged me, since he doesn't publish that info. You have to pm him to get a price, over at Fish's forum.)
