LOVELY video, my friend!!!

As a blowgun enthusiast, I liked very much what you did.

Please tell us, how did you managed to kept the PVC pipe straight at 120cm?? PVC pipes are known to be bent or twisted many times.

Also, it would be nice to show us a tutorial on those bicycle wheel spoke darts!

Cheers ...Q

Hey Q

The pvc is pretty good up to 120 cm . You need to hold the empty bore horizontal and site down the inside while slowly rotating the bore . When you get to the spot where you see a perfect circle of light stop and mark the top part of bore with a marker . This will always be the position the blowgun is to be shot in . The mark always on the top side of bore . The natives do this with natural material blowguns .

When you get tired of it, make a flute from it. Or a bow... Or... Or, you can use it as a pipe!!

So why weren't you available when my refrigerator ice defroster failed to melt the ice buildup???

Messing with the sweet gals, right? I don't blame you.

Had you been on deck during the "Titanic" voyage, maybe, just maybe...

You, sir, will be always a fountain of blowgunning knowledge!!!

Hmmmm ...might get busy these days and make a plastic one. I have my Cold Steel ones but one addition to the family is always welcomed!

Exactly what I did! In fact, the pipe has to be slightly bowed so that it counteracts the gravity sagging. Look into the barrel, look for perfect circle, mark the top, give thanks! Taught by Michael Janich.

I need the time to produce the tutorial videos in a way that's appealing to the YouTube laymen, already shot the whole process. I need to promote this real weapon into YouTube where most pvc blowguns there are merely toys. Just look at King of Random copycats.

YOU GOT IT! Years ago I did convert 1 into a Japanese flute! The times I feel down and need to quit using weapons. Times for peace...

In all my makery and work, and life I have never heard this genius explanation! I have made a few.of these, but had the same problems as Q. So I gave up on PVC blowguns. But this weekend I may make one again.

Thank you sharing.

Here is another way to find the "spine" of the tube. lay the tube on a flat surface like the kitchen counter. Hang a looped piece of string with a weight on the end. Push the tube off the counter except for just enough to handle, now slowly roll it along the counter with the weight hanging out in space. You will see the weight go slightly up and down as you roll. When it gets to it's highest mark, that is the spine mark on top.
