Finally finished this one up for a neighbor across the road from me.
It had some pretty deep cracking in spots, that I filled / inlaid Turquoise and Aluminum shavings into, using CA Glue.
It is sanded to 800 grit, has 2 coats of Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil, buffed with a green Scotchbrite pad, then two coats of Johnson's paste wax rubbed in and buffed.
Here's another shot in the hand. It really is a smaller sling....the handle length measured from the base of the fork V is only 3.250" long....still look too long now ?
