Just a few pics of a really nice ergo sling I'm working on for a trade owed, that is turning out very well IMHO

Carving in a large, single groove for three fingers, is really accenting some nice grain on this one.

Tks Joe, I love my Mora's, but actually prefer the Mora Craftline for carving as it has a bit more of a finger guard to it

Few more pics this morning, sanded to 220 so far, but going to 800

If I have room and on the right sized forks, I've also started carving in a depression or "V" notch on the target side, which is where my index finger falls on medium sized forks.....very comfy grip.

I noticed on some of the close ups that you have the shape for carving a sheep/deer/goat/hog foot. Heck anyone can carve a horse foot, but can they carve a cloven hoof??
