Hello Slingshot Forum friends!!

Here's my latest homemade, carved out from a natural fork of holm oak (Quercus ilex).
I've based this frame on some previous designs of mine, but made it in such a way as to be quite "pocketable", yet capable of withstand every sort of heavy bands (actually this piece of holm oak is very, very sturdy, as my carving knives testified)
Finished with linseed oil, shellac and natural beeswax.
This one is going to be prize for my giveaway ;) Hope the future recipient likes it.
Thanks for watching!!!!

Obviously and EXCELLENT piece!! For some strange reason, probably because I am strange :hmm: :what:, it let's me believe it came from the time of swords, shields, daggers and CHIVALRY  :battle:
MANY THANKS for your feedback and interest!!

It does reminds me of daggers and swords too. In this case, the handle and the angular contours reminded me of a katana.

I'm not so into swords, but I have a large collection of knives, most carving and pocket knives.

Blade types are always an inspiration!! :)

Best regards ...Q
