Hi everyone,
i made this one last year, but only now i carved grooves in the fork and banded it up.
the core is cut out a hazelnut treefork and the grips are from beech plywood.
its nice to hold with the hammergrip with pointer-, middlefinger and thumb.

Shall I coat it with linseed oil or just leave it untreatened?

it's quite fun to shoot.

greets!

I think I will give it a last finish somewhen to make it smoother and then treat it with linseed oil.
so its more appealing to the eye. nonetheless it yet feels good in the hand.
for now I will just enjoy shooting it. (y)

I 'm going to cut tapers now with red dragon .42 for .177 lead (0,48g)
Will cut something like 12-8-280 for full butterfly
...xcited to measure the velocities 🤟
