Hey fellow knife enthusiasts, I need some help picking out knife scale material. Imma try my hand at building a knife, I found a nice Damascus blade on sale. I am considering g10, micarta and black walnut as the scales. If you awesome craftspeople have any suggestions I am all ears :) If there is a material that I should consider please let me know. which is easier to work with g10 or micarta? Here is a picture of the blade. Thanks for your help :)

Micarta is imho a nicer material for a blade handle vs. G10. It doesn't get as slick when wet and there is a certain tactile warmth and comfort when gripping it. Not a dealbreaker if it's G10 of course but Micarta is what I'd prefer.
