Ok, I made a new catch box. Why ? Well...my last two catch boxes ended up in the garbage because I left them out in the rain. :banghead:

At first I wanted to make a from a plastic storage box, but my mom said"NO!". :bonk:

So here it is.

Cool looking catch box! This is why parents teach there kids to put their toys away after play time! Keeps the rain from messing them up!

I have made several catchbox from cardboard. I always seem to get bored with one style so since I make some out of cardboard, I can recycle the old one and design and make a new one. Keep us posted

Along this similar idea, I usually keep a small cardboard box with a couple towels wadded up inside it. I will stick a paper target on the outside of the box, toss it in the yard and shoot until it is expired. Put the box in a container, and shake out all the balls that were trapped by the wadded up towels. Then look for another box, and repeat. A beer or soda 12 pack box is about the right size for a 8.5x11 target print out.

If you'd like an inexpensive upgrade, you can get a canvas pop up laundry hamper at Walmart or equivalent for about $15. I find that easier to deal with than the plastic kind, but you don't want to leave it in the rain either.

Palmettoflyer I forgot the box outside in the rain because I was at my grandfather when the rain started.

Hey, you are doing great! Borrow one of you Mom's old pillows and stuff that in the back of the box and you are good for a long time. Then, throw that old box in the trash and do it again!
