Hi folks
I made this laminate today.
It is a new design I have been trying, and it shoots real good.
This laminate is from all American wood.
Red cedar center, sided by Black Ash, and then Walnut. I added a palm swell of spalted maple. I also added a hole for a lanyard into it.

This really is a prototype design and I am pleased with the way it shoots.
The forks are almost 2 1/2 wide and the throat is the same depth. It has a long handle for those that like the hammer grip, but it can be choked up to where it can be shot horizontally (like I shoot).
A very strong fork, which can accept strong bands. Personally I like the smaller 1/2 in. rubber . Easy pull, but yet very fast using a 3/8 steel ball.
I have a lot of the spalted maple wood. Problem is, it is not strong enough to stand alone as a fork, so I think I have found a good use for it as a palm swell.
Very pretty wood, and it machines quite nicely.
All in all, I think this will be a great fork, and I have the pattern to make more.
