My son picked a fork up and asked me to do him a slingshot for hunting, i enjoyed making this one and it is very nice to the touch, it looks a lot nicer finish in real life, he wanted it just waxed with a red wax, here it is, jeff

Very Nice!!! Those are great naturals. I know some are afraid of eyehooks but I think there is minimum risk in using them.
Cheers!!!

Thats a nice slingshot I like the finish, what did you use?
£1 shop cheap wax and stainer all in one, ha ha, ust put a small bit on then gave it a good old rub, so you can still see the grain and bits of the white wood show up on the cut out bits, thats how he wanted it, he says its less slippy in the winter when its snown and raining, jeff

Nice, wish I could find a straight fork like that. Grass is always greener on the other side
