Made this frame with my son today, he calls it slingshot sunday we make lunch together and shoot slings lol. Well today he wanted to help (hes 5 lol so I was happy) so we looked at a couple templates together. And we came up with this little classic looking beanshooter he lovingly calls his Blue Horseshoe LOL. Cut it from some nice old ply I got from my m father for some of my garden veggies haha. Got some unknown blue chinese latex on here, matched the frame but more importantly it has the *exact stretch needed for his style. It's 3/4"-1/2"×7.5" and its got a Simple Shot top grain pouch. Went through ny bag of cell phone holsters and found another like mine with the click-rotating clip and velcro strap. He & I shot cans with it today and it works perfect for him, I must admit I was having a riot with it too its alot of fun to shoot. Much like other classic styled slings, this setup seems to prefer 5/8" marbles, so thats what we'rw feeding it.

Thats unfortunately the same thing with my dad and his dad, Flip. Thats why I try my best with my son, every little thing matters to him and I love it lol.

Haha thanks Joe! I plan to have him help more and more now. He loves sanding and wiping on BLO so Ive been letting him work on some spare pieces and hes getting good!
