Bells Of Hythe sent me a sample of their "New Forest 12 Shot 16mm Mould" product. I reviewed it and made a video about it.

A great product!

Nice vid Joerg

aren't those lead balls 16 mm just a little bit too big for hunting?
As I read in other posts a .44 (~11mm) or .45 (~12mm) lead balls would be more suitable for hunting.
Would the difference in caliber would make much of a difference in efficiency?

Well, a 16 mm ball will deliver far more energy if shot from a powerful slingshot. It will probably cause more of a blunt trauma than a deep penetration, though. But without a doubt the 16 mm ball will kill small game very efficiently.

I like them because it is much easier to hold them in the pouch. I find small caliber balls annoying.

BOH has already announced a 12 mm version, though.
