Hello,

instead of always shooting lead and steel balls, I have followed the tip from a fellow slingshooter and made my own, very heavy bullets from nuts, bolts and washers.

It works! The effect is quite spectacular.

The new "compass" slingshot is used to compare the impact of different balls and the new, oddly shaped projectiles against a stack of styrofoam boards.

Enjoy!

Very interesting! But it would be even more interesting to see what those monsters can make with a coconut or ballistic-gelatine!

Gelatin eh?

My wife hates me when I concoct this vicious stuff, the whole kitchen is sticky for a week at the least.

We'll see.

I thought the treatment of the various ammo was pretty cool. The added force of the larger projectiles is apparent from the results in the foam board, but what does it look like on the chronograph?

I must also say I like the "Compass" design for both the mechanical advantages and the beauty of the form.

A forkhit or finger hit would be really spectacular. Please don't show us that!

Does the bonecrusher drift any in longer shots due to it's saucer-like design?
