Hi, here are some pics of a way came up with for holding cards with out the clamps. Just slice a pool noodle and it will hold the card. I sliced a section on the bottom so it would fit my barrel catch box, but it can be used for a straight bar also.

Great idea! Someday if I'm ready to cut cards this will be the way I can do it.

I may be coming into a converstion that has precedence. My apologies if I missed something previous.

That looks great. If you are trying to cut a card, though, I saw it mentioned that a clamp that holds them tightly (like a pony clamp) is what is needed to cut the card.

I didn't want you to get frustrated as to why the cards weren't getting cut. And I can't verify that the clamp is necessary, but I am pretty sure you would need serious velocity.

If you want to cut multiples of cards... having several to as many as you want standing up ready to be shot/cut... I use a bar clamp with little 2x2 blocks... line up the blocks with cards between them and you can tightly hold as many block/cards as the bar clamp will hold

Your idea is very good for holding multiple cards for card edge hits only . To cut the cards they need to be clamped and secured .
