Seven or eight years ago I was a regular on this forum, under a different name.

I lost interest and wandered off to do other things. Even shipped all my slingshot building tools and equipment to my son as he has three boys.

The other day my step-son was trimming trees and found a fork he thought should become a slingshot. It is Empress Tree also known as Princess Tree. It is a cream colored wood with a very pretty grain. I'm not sure about this piece though. At this point I've removed the bark and started rasping a bit. I have not found very pretty wood but maybe that will change.

Either way when I finish the work, I'll do a build thread on it.

I hope I see some old familiar avatars.

Life gets in the way sometimes, or we pursue other hobbies. Slingshots, like pool (pocket Billiards), and fishing are lifetime hobbies that can be enjoyed by almost all with few exceptions. I just recently signed back up myself. Now if I could only sign in on my phone. Hopefully we'll get to see some of your collection soon.
