Hey y'all! Here's another natural fork slingshot I've just finished. I was digging up a septic line a while back and this was growing in my way. I hacked it out of my way and tossed it aside . I was never really careful about it, though I knew that, knowing me, I'd probably be picking it up sooner or later and making a slingshot with it. I sanded away the bark and got an idea of what I was really working with. I filled the busted up places and this pretty neat void between the forks with blue resin. I then sanded it smooth up to 320 grit, and followed this with smoothing the surface more with scotch brite. Finally, the shooter was finished with automotive clear coat. As odd as this is shaped, it's very comfortable to hold. Thanks for looking!
