Ok, last question of the night. Shooting gangster style, couldn't you cut your bottom fork shorter than the top to help keep your hamd in a more relaxed position, and still keep the bands in alignment.

I've been sorta toying with that idea. You'd have to get the bands fairly matched so they retract at the same pace I think.
