What airport should one fly into if one was so inclined?? I imagine Pittsburg after looking at a map a bit... Lets see, a 2 hour flight or a 14hr / 1000mi drive. I'm weighing my options :) Looks like Alverton is about 45min away from Pittsburg. I guess I'd rent a car and drive in from there. Perhaps there are carpool options? :)

If you do decide to fly in I am willing to give you a ride to and from whatever airport, as long as I'm in the area by then. Or, if you can make it to eastern NC and think you can tolerate almost 9 hours in a truck with me we could maybe workout some carpooling. Just let me know.

nice of ya chad, I'm still looking at tix, looks like i can get a round trip for under 300$. not bad. But driving 9hrs with ya a pickup sounds like mad fun to me! I'll be in touch... no not that way....

I'm hoping that in a few years, when I am making my own choices, and my skills are up to scratch, I hope to attend.

It'd be fun even if I stood no chance of winning, just meeting up with some of you would be awesome.

patti sent me back a e mail i ask if we can still shoot at old beer bottles and plates on the left side of slingshot target range she said can still shoot them there

Fantastic!! I enjoy the glass breaking nearly as much as all the other shooting events. I will start saving my breakables now!

This just means more beer will have to be drunk during the round tables, so there is more glass to shoot afterwards!

Just found out that I got a new job I was hoping for. Down side...won't be able to get to the tournament until around 9pm on friday
