This old flip has probability killed many a rabbit. It is very old and shows signs of s lot of use. I am posting it because it shows that a natural slingshot fork does not need to be large to be effective. The tips on this one are about 1/2 inch in diameter and it is about 6 1/2 inches tall. – Tex

very symmetrical, Tex, like those Rufus' nephew-in-law showed on youtube.

Thanks for showing that. I will be looking for a symmetrical dogwood fork next time I go down to mom and dad's in SE Texas.

If that one could talk, I'd sit it on the table (very respectfully) and listen to good stories for hours......of the marbles cast, rabbits brought home, maybe a few windows shattered, and a thousand campaigns and six dozen different elastics cut from red inner tube.........

Tex that's a gem and I'm thankful you've got it as no telling how many of these battered veterans of years past now reside in landfills!
