Ran out of the usual ball bearings so I raided my nuts and bolts box and went for a plink with my new Wasp. I didn't think the nuts would be very accurate but I was surprised how good they actually were, and they really seemed to tear through the can with vicious jagged holes. Might even be a good choice of ammo for rat hunting. This is with 6mm and 8mm nuts, and surprisingly I think the 6mm penetrated the can easier, but the 8mm carried an almighty wollap.

Smaller ammo traveling faster penetrates better, all else being the same. We have had members fill the holes in nuts with lead for some really effective hunting ammo.
