Anyone ever used this stuff to stabilize porous wood?
I have a set of zebrawood scales that i need stabilized but i dont have access to anyone that can do it...was wondering if this stuff would work..

I have used similar products in the past for some damaged window frames and it worked very well, it essentially petrified the wood (it became rock hard). So I imagine if it could work with window frames, I would think it should be okay with the scales you have.

Thanks....im only looking to seal the pores so they dont get clogged up from sanding...i was hoping to find something suitable...this stuff is expensive though...and i can only find it in large cans....im hoping i can find a cheaper alternative ..
