You will NEVER make any laws to rid the world of hatred and greed????
My following thoughts are referring to a small portion of the world, regardless of where we live.

I have several friends that are Firemen, EMT's, Police, Detectives, janitors, bus drivers, and work at big box stores. Everyone of them go to wrk everyday hoping to make a positive difference.

The problem as I see it is our supposedly leaders put a bandage on a severe injury. Our jail is full of people who need mental health, not locked up to sit and get worse.

Cut backs in our school system, but yet the powers to be get a raise???????? Lack of education has all but eliminated respect for not only our fellow people, but ourselves.

A farmer I know passed away, and at his funeral another %@#$#@% farmer walks up to the farmers widow and ask if she would let him rent her ground.????????

The following joke was by a comedian several years ago, but it's still true today. This young man grew up in the ghettos playing on demolished and , abandoned buildings With jagged rocks and broken glass. Rarely did they have an accident. The powers to be came in cleaned it up and put in a state of the art playground. They had several kids break bones the first day on the monkey bars????‍♂????????

One of my favorite things about living where I do is between being a military and southern town, people are respectful and remember their Sirs and Mams. I notice that it is not just the older people that get respect either (even though they certainly deserve it). Most people I encounter on a regular basis are polite and either try to help you or at the least try not to impede you. It is sad that the outliers and extreme cases make the news while the vast majority of people and nicely in the middle, trying to live the American dream and get their needs met :)

P.S. Sorry for being so long winded.

I want to thank everyone that has been on an emergency run to help revive a person that has overdosed on drugs, and the police that are there to save a person being beaten in domestic violence. My friend has worked as a detective for several years going into drug infested houses where kids are sitting on the floor in their own body fluids starving. She finally had to retire, and seek counseling.

I'm a cancer patient and still able to work. Every day I have breath is a gift, a bonus. I have duties to fulfill; duties to my God, to my country, and to whom they depend on me. There are jobs to be done, and I will do my utmost. At the end of the day, I say a prayer, thanking for the 24 hours I have received, and asking what I should do tomorrow.

Chins up boys! We are Americans. We have seen worse and prevailed. We will do it again.
