@Island made found some dollar store exercise rubber (tpe) not really rubber but for 5 dollars it’s not so bad . I did a cut 18 12 at 10 inch active and shooting 6 and 8 mm steel . At a relaxed shot at 28 feet the balls were filling the can at a good pull the shots going through. So taken with a grain of salt it’s not top the line band material but the pull is not bad pretty smooth be honest and given little messing around it’s ok I think 🤔. Not sure how long it last but price to amount who cares 🤷‍♂️ I bet it make a sweet bb band . Or slow enough for guys getting into pfs that want try flats
So my few shot conclusion is it’s great learn make band sets with good learn pfs and just fun target bands heck guess if a guy messed around with cuts it might put food in the pot 😁 last thing I needed was more band material but hey 5 bucks I say try it out if you can get it

I used exercise bands for quite some time before I got actual slingshot rubber and the life is honestly just as long if you're cutters are nice and sharp. Think about it they're designed to withstand numerous repetitions and daily use so they work just fine hooked up to a frame
Ya I bet more people than you would think use exercise rubber . I just never really thought about using it
