Purple haze sniper

OK I said I would not do it but as a recovering knife maker I cannot help myself
Found this at the hardwood store for five dollars
Just saw a Hathcock sniper carved out of that
Pros and cons
I've used Purple Heart inoverlays and In laminated bows and glued in pieces but never a solid piece
Is it strong enough
It's funny being a master blade Smith and I don't know where to start Lol

I am not an expert on aything... But as any artist knows, if you have to, you have to... Then there is one sure way to know if it works
