Hi

I've cut a few forks from native woods and enjoy making them.
But one id love to do is Yew, there is no yew in my area, N.C.

Would anyone here have a yew fork they would like to sale.
No work done to it, except the ends sealed. Shoot me some

pictures and price if you've got anything.
Thanks

Steve

English longbows were made from Yew in the days of yore. I understand that there's hardly any remaining, but that may be inaccurate.

Why don't you do a Google search for where Yew may be located in the states, and then seek out forum members from those states?

THWACK!

"Extremely rare" in Florida, as per my search engine DuckDuckGo (doesn't track one as Google does).

I bought some reclaimed pacific Yew from a guy this spring— i could part with some if you are interested— the guy wasn’t a big slingshot shooter so the pieces were rather thick.
