I went and did a little changing for the pattern following helpful advice from members here. So how about now, Is it good to go?

It's a bit bigger than I'd use but go for it. You can only cut them out, put bands on and see how they shoot. I wouldn't bother finishing it until you're happy with how it shoots. I often shape forks after I've put bands on. How they look is important but the most important thing is how they shoot.

seems a bit .... huge ... Let me tell you, at first thought that the bigger the fork would be better.but I think there are limits, and your wrist will let you know.

which type of wood did you use?

Personally, I'd round off the edges a little, that could help a lot with ergonomics

And I thought my slingshots were big....but honestly if it works for you go with it, only you will know if it's right for you.

Yeah maybe i overdid the size.
Hehe. But this is going to be my first slingshot ive made, so i'll see how it turns out. Can't wait to put on a brandnew set of bouble layer blue thera-bands.
