Hey guys! Here's one made from a rhododendron fork. Had one spot between the forks I filled with CA glue. Finished with tung oil and paste wax. Thanks for looking!

@Drew_Bilbrey......very nice Drew, love the grain of that. Every time the wife and I go to the North Ga. Mtns, I threaten to find and cut some

Rhodendron and Mountain Laurel forks to bring back home and work on.

How do you like working this material, looks a bit like Maple in grain ?

BTW.....Sent you a PM on the flute progress.

Thanks Darrell! It was lovely to work on really. Not too hard or soft either. I have a couple other rhododendron forks at home that i picked up at Mt. Mitchell in NC last spring. I should really get to those as soon as I catch up on my orders. I've got lots of unique forks to get too really. Lol
