This is a very effective method of shooting close to the hand. Just be sure to turn the pouch is turned on it's side before letting go and the ammo will go to the target rather than to your hand. You can very quickly become an effective shooter with this method and it is easy to conceal/carry. The only ammo I have not had success with is BBs but all other ammo to include rocks is fine.
