I've always enjoyed shooting cans filled with water, the results are usually more spectacular than shooting empty cans. Attached is a short clip of some can destruction. A punchbag is used as a backstop. The ammo used here is a monster lead ball, 1.05 inches and 1700 grains

Made another video, this time lined up 6 cans and filled them with water. Not as spectacular as I had hoped, the ball impacted the first can very near the top (strong part of the can) the top was ripped off that first can and the next can in line was crushed at the top. That deflected the ball enough to miss all the other cans. The other cans did go flying and were dented (but not holed) due to the first two cans being pushed into them.

When I shoot pop cans filled with water, the shot goes right through them and they don't move very much. When I shoot empty pop cans they fly about 20 feet. -- Tex
