So I am already thinking about the winter time. I live in New Hampshire and we usually get several feet of snow during the winter time. I would like to shoot during the winter time. Does the cold affect the bands so much to make them unshootable? My other option would be to set up a small catch box in my basement however that just doesnt give me the distance I would like. Does anybody else have this dilemma?

You obviously won't get as much power out of your bands, but I can only see that being a problem for hunting. You'll be fine!

I would say shooting in your basement is a good idea. I recomend making the target smaller instead
