So need to find a way to bend it. I Will post the result. Trying to make something pocket friendly for tubes.

How do the community feel about using a hammer to bend things into shape?

I’ve always been a fan of a vise and some body weight. Where are you planning to bend it?

Going to cut it half way up from the bottom. Bend the forks backwards 90 degrees like the original pocket rocket?

I think a vice and a piece of pipe for leverage would be much kinder than a hammer. But like Flip said “what ever it takes “. Be sure to show us what ya come up with.

Hammering was way harder than i thougt. So vice and pipe bending did the job. Tried to replicate my old wrist rocket fork. Wraped it with paracord and did the tube attachment method that i learned in here. Its done but not fired yet. Plan is to get a 1732 single on it. But for now flatband that was lying around. Now some pics. Think im gonna call it Cobra.

That really turned out to be something awesome. I’m not sure what I imagined we’d be seeing after you first put up your post, but I am thoroughly impressed.

Ty for the feed back =). Yes im pleased with the results my self. Best feature is the slip-thru lanyard. Just fits my hand, and works great as a brace =D. Im having a hard time rolling the tubes on the fork back and forth. Used more than 1 hour to get them on, Its 3060 black tubing, biggest i had. Should i go for a bigger tubing, will it hold just as well?

I have some left overs after this project and i have another idea for a more pocket friendly slingshot. It basicly a V using paracord making tabs abit like this one but with some braceing so it dont bend as much.

Glad you like it Island made, i think i used atleast 5m of paracord on this one. Hope it lives ut to my expectations. :imslow:

Yup. I believe this sling would get the Grandpa Grumpy sign of approval! I've got a couple waiting for me to finish up. This is my first wire-mod and she rocks!!
