So
I made this one from manzanita.
Grows in the sierra`s of Ca. and Nevada.
Really stong wood, and I incorporated tubes on this fork. WoW! Nice and fast, and accurate.
Took alot of hand sanding to get it to look like this...but it was worth the effort.

PS. Also, I'm very much using and enjoying the slingshot I purchased from you at the Alverton tournament. In fact it is my favorite to shoot. I must have shot 4 to 5 hundred throughout the day with it.

Natural forks are some of my favorites.
I remember the first one I cut when I was 9 or 10 yrs. old.
I still have the scar on my thumb, when my dad`s hacksaw sliced into it when cutting the slots in the fork.

Guess some things never change,because the bandsaw got my finger awhile back.
Ouch! Be careful out there.

Isn't it amazing Tom, When you work with naturals how the wood just draws you in . The more you sand the more grain you find and after you put a finish on everything just glows ! Nice work Tom. Love them naturals
