Simple Shots New Premium tubes.

Received some of Simpleshots new premium tubes in 16/32 and 20/40. Haven't shot the 20/40s much. But been shooting the 16/32 a lot.Light pull and good speed. I'm impressed with them. I've been shooting 16/36 for a few months now and if these new 16/32 tubes have the longevity of my GZK 16/36s they could become my new go to tubes for Target Shooting.

I got some SS 1632 too. I like it well enough but noticed it goes through a growth spurt in the first 100 shots or so. I cut my normal length and they feel good for about 100 shots and then they get way too long, which forces me to cut my pouch off and re-tie to shorten them about 1/2 " to 3/4". After I trim them down they seem to hold well.

It might not be a popular opinion, but I still feel the GM&BW tubes are the best for me. I haven't tried GZK because I'm not going to purchase from somewhere that forces you to buy $60 worth of stuff just to get it shipped.

I just ordered some tubes from Spearit to see how their tubes compare. Pretty pricey stuff at about $1 per foot, so hopefully it's worth it.

I've heard good things about GZK but I would just like to try some stuff out before committing. I don't mind paying $5 - $10 shipping and waiting 2-3 weeks but that's not even an option.

Maybe I can piggyback on your next order :hmm: Do you want to sell some of your 1632 GZK tubing?

No don't want to sell because when I order I'm getting tubes for Me and three of my friends I shoot with. But next time I order I'll let you know.

This is the stuff I ordered to try out. Has anyone else had experience with it?

This is their description:

Spearit sells only the highest quality natural rubber latex tubing. This tubing is manufactured in the U.S.A. by Kent Elastomer using the dip method. Dip manufactured natural rubber tubing has elastic qualities superior to extruded tubing or tubing made from other synthetic elastomers. One of the consequences of dip manufacturing is that the tubing is sold in random lengths by the manufacturer. We receive the bulk tubing and immediately sort it by length and package it in sealed opaque plastic bags to preserve freshness. Then we ship it to Amazon warehouses where our inventories are kept small and replenished as often as weekly. This is important because natural rubber is a perishable product for which proper storage and age matter. Although our primary focus is spearfishing accessories, many of the products we sell have a myriad of other applications. This is the same material used in healthcare and laboratories where it is more commonly referred to as surgical tubing. It is also the preferred material for applications requiring superior elastic properties. Natural rubber tubing is perfect for these and thousands of other applications and Spearit provides the highest quality and freshest rubber available.

I am curious if the "Dip Manufacturing" makes any difference.

Forgot to mention that last post I've been using GM&BW 1632 tubing with my babies and Clay balls with great success my average pull rate on that is 4 and a half pounds. I find that the 1632 is a little slow for my 8 mmmm in a straight configuration. Next time I make my order to sling shootings. Com I will be getting the 3050 that sounds pretty cool too.
My 1632 GMBW sends 8mm pretty well. Once I step up in tube size I notice my consistency goes way down. The difference might be that I shoot 1/2 butterfly with a 52" draw.
