I shoot both 7/16 steel and 1/2 steel. If I am using SimpleShot Black .8, what is a good band with to cut my bands?

Hey there. There’s an easy way to find a jumping off point for band tapers with Simpleshot premium black latex. If you search “die cut band sets” from the main Simpleshot page it will give you a breakdown in the description of the preferred taper for the thickness of band and ammo you’re interested in shooting. That’s their recommendation and I’d start there then tweak that by what you feel is necessary. I’ve saved you some time and screenshot the page for you.

Darnit my apologies I didn’t see that you were shooting .8 thickness which isn’t listed. You may be able to ask them in their questions popup. Or some folks here might have a better idea. Sorry I wasn’t able to answer your question.
