Traded with him him two weeks ago. He kept making excuses As to why he couldn't send my items out. Now, I have been messaging him to see where my stuff is and am just being ignored. He has my stuff and I have nothing. Be careful if dealing with him.

Sorry brother that happened to you. My motto has always been "99% accuracy and 100% honesty, because if you don't have enough respect for someone else to honor your word to them, how can you have respect for your own self.

I hope nothing has happened to him or his family to prevent honoring what he promised.

I tell ya what: I'm gonna go with SLING-N-SHOT's High road attitude for now. It's easy to give into the impulse to jump on a pink monkey. I've done it a time or two, looked back and said, "I should of had waited until I had more patience and facts." I would now rather be charitable and wrong than uncharitable and wrong. :iono:

I had this happen to me once. It was one of the trades where everybody's name is put in the hat and two names drawn for each trade.

My trading partner was relatively new to slingshots, but met the criteria to participate in the trade. He told me he had only used only office bands for power so I sent him several feet of different size tubing, sampler pack of flat band material, several Supersure pouches and two slingshots. I sent it all to the U.K.

He acknowledged that he received the package,that he was very pleased and that he would be posting my package in a few days.

He disappeared from the forum shortly there after. He did not answer my PMs. I thought maybe something happened. An accident or something serious that kept him from replying.

Well over a year later he appeared on the forum in the For Sale section. Two of the items he had up for sale were the slingshots I sent him. I seriously thought about buying one of the slingshots but figured he would take my money and i would never see the slingshot.

This is where we start to get dubious of new members: Which is a shame. I don't know who remembers, "Tommy" "22LR" and his assorted pseudonyms. Tells invisible to him made him easy to spot to Troll Hunters. Eventually Mods blocked his IP address or some other computer Mojo. We have to have faith in new friends while watching for Shockley's and Tommy's. He can run, but he can't hide.

Assuming of course that he was not the victim of some misfortune.
