I have been following the threads on blowpipes with some interest. While stumbling around following this subject, I ran across this

This appeals to me. I'm still trying to figure out a likable way to fish these canals in Az.

Now if I can poormouth old "Ghostie" into teaching me how to safely hook a line to the dart, I might try this system. I have seen his video where he presses a wingnut onto a shaft, maybe that is the way to go.

Hi Steven I have not tried them yet but here a couple pic of the ss darts and eBay fish darts . The eBay fish darts have a lot of weight to them I imagine they go into water well . The ss darts I don’t think be as good in water . Here a couple pics maybe help you out . The eBay darts are cheap just for ever and a day to get them

The steel darts are the way to go I use a wrist brace on my pouch hand with a fish reel on it using braided line weed eater string as my pouch.

I may try to come up with something along these lines. If I can, I'll use a B52 wire sling with the wrist brace and maybe a small close faced reel. If I figure something out, I'll post you guys a picture.

I’ve been really wanting to try this but I’m hesitant - has anyone tried any of the protective gloves from snipersling for the frame hand/can speak to whether or not they’ll actually prevent me from putting a dart into my hand? Thanks!
