Hi all,

I'd like to show you some kind of my personal slingshot design evolution.

The MK1 :

http://slingshotforu.../image/6803-13/

made from beech wood, finisched with infinite layers of sanding sealer
I always liked to have a small knob against the side of my hand while shooting for a better grip. That is forkgrip / finger support.

The follow up modell is made from a bamboo cutting board and features a lager „handside knob" also sanding sealer finish.

MK2:

After a while I altered this design because I found it rather crude and inelegantly. So heres the

MK3:

Made form multiplex, the inlays are aluminum tubings.
This is my first try with inlays and I wouln't do it again without any mechnical sanding/ polishing help and a drill press.....it was kind of a pain in the backside.

The finish is BLO and some coats of poly. Will hook this one up with some slingle strand of black chinse tube, since I am only a marble plinker. Next step would be to finally get my hands on some noble wood and to further devolop this design.

Thanks very much for looking, hope you like it.

Best Regards.

I loved seeing how your design evolved! My peference is for the Mark II, rather than the Mark III. Sized for your hand, that hook will help your grasp to be very consistent, shot to shot. Nice work!

Sure ... that would be nice. Just run it through your scanner. If you cannot make a pdf, just post a jpg file and I will make a pdf. If you have trouble posting a jpg file, send me a pm.

Cheers ..... Charles
