I had a 1x12 board laying around. It is about 4 feet long. I sanded, stained, and sealed it, then using slingshots for a guide, drilled holes at about a 20 degree angle spaced a bit more than the width of my widest slingshot handle. Next I cut 3 inch lengths of dowel rod and inserted the pieces into the holes. My rack holds 16 slingshots, and I have some knotty pine that will make a really nice rack for more when I get back home.

It would be better if I could show you a picture, but I'm in NC until early December. If I can get my wife to snap a shot and send it to me, I'll post it.

King Cat that is a nice rack and really impressive slingshots.
Rayshot, got enough slingshots yet? I am probably not far behind. Your design looks like a good idea. I expect after about 6 months I will need that kind of storage. I have another bow rack like the one shown with 7 more bows, but I think it is time for a dedicated slingshot rack. The location in my rec room does not get direct sunlight so I think something similar to Rayshot's design will work. thanks Guys

I have just been hanging them on one of my bow racks (pic below). I am thinking it is time to design a rack just for the Slingshots.

Any ideas? What do you guys use?

Quasi Non-sequitur: one of the first things I did when I recently took my longbow out of storage and had it refitted was get a string guard (top end) and tip guard (bottom end) set, to keep the bowstring properly in place and taught, while not in use. Note: these are product photos, not pics of my own bow.

Darb, yes the strings look sloppy, typically thing are better sorted. I have used string keepers and tip protectors in the past. The second bow from the top is a yew bow with horn nocks I carved, and included a small hole for a string keeper. I never used the string keeper feature. I shoot (2) times a week and cycle thru all the bows, plus 7 more on the other wall. It is a short ride to the archery club and I have not found an advantage in using those products. I do appreciate the suggestion.
