Hello again,

I stumbled across this interesting video on YouTube. One of the slingshots he uses is a SimpleShot design, check it out:

Any thoughts?

Only topped by .44 Magnum and above I believe. Jeorge Sprave and Nathan Masters did a down and dirty video on this a while back. (It wasn't the most scientific of tests, but it does show the properties well enough) And Jeorge was using one of his usual giant *** slingshot contraptions with a huge ball. It wasn't penetrating power but stopping force. That might not be Nathan, buuuut I'm pretty sure it is. I'm pretty sure Chuck Norris was hiding in there somewhere too with all that coolness going on. .

Elbow to chest .... a.k.a "Show stopper" .... is most effective.

Always love it when its I'm a professional but have no clue with using these things...

I have a 80lb pistol crossbow - its accurate and fun - but actual power past 10m starts getting questionable - drops off extremely quickly. Up close its another story...

I don't quite understand the comparison. It's comparing apples, to oranges, to grapes. What's the point of this test?
