Finally had a weekend that wasn't a soaking rain so my Buddy and me got a chance to go after some Bass.

Conditions were not very good. Murky, muddy ,cold water-tough. We did manage a few. Ended up with 8 Bass 2 Crappie and a Bluegill.

The Bluegill hit on a crankbait as big as he was! Guess he/she couldn't see with all the murky water. Bass were holding deep in wooded cover (blowdowns, stumps ).

Me and my Buddy both broke off at least 4 set-ups due to snags on stumps and branches. We got almost all the fish on Keitech 4 inch swim baits.

I've been reading that we weren't the only fishermen dealing with rain and muddy water. Seems the whole country was! Still was a fun day. When is being out on the water not?
